Keep the Gemini app, Gemini API and Google Search AI features separate. Investigate customer questions, visible sources and correct product facts within each environment. An API sample is not a direct measurement of a personal Gemini conversation, AI Overviews or AI Mode.
Google Gemini SEO refers to several different tasks
People use “Gemini SEO” to mean writing content with Gemini, finding a brand in Gemini answers, or improving a website for Google's AI search. This guide addresses the second task: checking what an answer says about an offer and which page supports the statement.
| Environment | What to record |
|---|---|
| Gemini app | Visible mode, language, date, conversation context and sources |
| Gemini API | Model, configured tools and saved measurement conditions |
| Google Search AI features | Query, market and the actual feature displayed |
A result in one row does not measure the others. Google's documentation for AI features in Search refers to established SEO fundamentals, rather than an additional special Gemini schema. Our GEO versus SEO guide explains the wider context.
Use the AI hallucination review to examine incorrect or outdated product information claim by claim.
Choose a Gemini SEO question set around a buying decision
Start with an actual decision your customers face. A fictional workshop might ask: “Which scheduling software suits two reception desks and a waiting list?” This open question does not supply the provider's name. Add a specific requirement and only then a branded factual question.
The branded question might be: “Can LindenPlan import appointments from CSV?” It tests a product fact rather than discovery. A brand mention there cannot be interpreted as an unprompted recommendation, because you supplied the name. Keep the two types in separate columns.
Use a fresh conversation for a comparison and record the visible context. That does not remove every possible personalization effect, but reduces avoidable differences. Do not include confidential customer details. Avoid changing the query, market and language simultaneously if you want to interpret the next observation.
Search-grounded, model-only or unknown origin?
Google Search grounding is an explicitly configurable Gemini API capability. The Google grounding documentation describes its use of search information and sources. This does not mean that every service using Gemini enables the same capability.
Inspect the sources actually displayed or documented by the measurement system you use. Open the URL and locate the claimed information. A homepage link does not automatically support a specific import feature or today's price. Record the exact page rather than just the source domain.
If the origin is not traceable, write “unknown origin”. That is different from concluding that the website is never used. An answer may describe a fact correctly or incorrectly without exposing its origin. The AI visibility measurement guide separates mentions, citations and missing evidence.
Turn the finding into a responsible page change
Suppose an answer claims that LindenPlan automatically books appointments from a waiting list. In reality, the product only sends a notification. Open the cited feature page. If it says merely “automatic waiting list”, a material limitation is missing for prospective customers.
Fictional clarification
A notification, not an automatic booking
“When a suitable appointment opens, the waiting customer receives a message. The appointment is reserved only after confirmation. The waiting list does not book without the customer's agreement.”
Only publish an explanation that matches the actual feature. Link the product overview to the responsible guide and the guide to the appropriate plan. The GEO optimization workflow helps organize this editorial work.
If a third-party comparison is the incorrect source, a documented correction request may be more appropriate. Publishing a new article with another keyword does not fix a false statement on someone else's page.
How Nalqerio labels Gemini measurements
For Gemini, Nalqerio currently uses web search through Perplexity within a separately labelled API measurement. It does not retrieve your personal Gemini conversation or directly measure Google Search.
The personal Gemini app and Google Search remain separate environments. A Nalqerio measurement does not confirm a position there. The free trial includes one snapshot across all released providers, currently including Gemini; it does not replace a check in the Gemini app. Check the current plans for available providers and allowances.
The methodology explains these boundaries. The product tour shows the workflow around customer questions. If you keep app observations beside API samples, label both clearly rather than merging them into an ambiguous average.
Compare later samples under similar conditions. Even then, a single changed answer does not prove that your latest edit caused it. Source availability, freshness and the limited number of observations remain relevant to interpretation.
If your question actually concerns Google Search, use the AI Mode and AI Overviews guide. It explains the website review and the limits of transferring API findings.
Keep a useful protocol instead of a supposed Gemini rank
Record an actionable task alongside the answer. “Explain the waiting-list limitation” is something a team can do; “Gemini dislikes us” is not. For other systems, use the separate guides to ChatGPT SEO and Perplexity SEO.
The free OpenAI-based Nalqerio trial introduces the general workflow. Evaluate paid monitoring according to your questions and available evidence. Track actual website visits and registrations separately: a mention in an answer is not yet a customer.
Frequently asked questions
Does a Gemini API sample measure AI Overviews?
No. It is not a direct observation of AI Overviews. Record the actual Google Search feature separately.
Do I need special structured data for Gemini?
Google does not specify an additional special schema for its AI Search features. Accurate data and accessible content remain part of general website work.
Does the free Nalqerio trial include Gemini?
Yes, as long as Gemini is currently released. The free trial includes one complete snapshot with three customer questions across all released providers. Repeat measurements belong to Starter and Pro; the plan page shows the current providers.
